Not every day at sea has to be done at 30 knots.
Sometimes what you really want is the opposite: to slow down, switch off your phone, watch the coast pass by gently, listen to the water tapping softly against the wooden hull, feel time stretch out.
The Aquila is built for exactly that.
This 9-metre Mallorcan llaüt is the traditional boat of the Balearic Islands. An unmistakable silhouette, a low curved profile, an elegance inherited from generations of Mallorcan fishermen. Built in 1986 and carefully restored, she’s not the fastest boat in the harbour. But she doesn’t need to be.
What she’s about is something else: character, authenticity and just enough comfort to turn any outing into a tiny holiday. The wooden deck, the deep blue hull, the sound of the diesel engine at half throttle. The feeling of sailing the way Mallorca has always sailed.
Up to 6 guests on board. A bow sun pad for those who want to soak in the sun with Palma in view, a stern seating area for conversation in the shade of the awning, a double cabin, a bathroom with shower and a fridge so the hours never feel rushed. If you fancy a paella on board in a quiet cove, this is the setting.
The Aquila philosophy is to experience the sea in slow motion: step out of the routine, recover the rhythm of the small things, enjoy a day without hurry.
Three formats to choose from:
- Full day, to lose yourself in the coves of the Bay of Palma.
- Half day (4 hours), morning or afternoon, perfect if you have other plans.
- Sunset, from 7:30 to 10:00 PM, to watch Mallorca change colour from the water.
Book the Aquila and discover what it feels like to sail slowly.
